The OTL project kit includes everything you need to build an Open Task Light except for the 3D printed components. All parts can be printed from one 1kg spool of PLA.


Included:

  • Electronics, hardware, and custom parts needed to assemble a printed Open Task Light
  • Specialty printed parts including capacitive brightness-control buttons, an ambient-light sensor window, and a control-board clip
  • An Open Task Light sticker
  • Steel weight material: one 550g bag with the clamping base kit or three 550g bags with the freestanding base kit. The weight ships separately, and its calculated shipping cost is included at checkout. You can remove it from your cart if you prefer to source it yourself.

Not included:

  • 3D printed components, with the specialty-part exceptions listed above

Custom parts made in the USA


Open Task Light circuit boards were manufactured and assembled in Texas and Minnesota. Custom sheet metal parts like the LED brackets and OTL wrench were made in Kentucky.
